Terms
DraftDraft terms for the backup tool and the closed M2 account and chat features. No subscription or payment service is offered by this release.
Who can use chat
Koimo chat is for adults aged 18 and over. Provide accurate age information, keep your sign-in details secure, and use only your own account. Chat availability depends on your country and the configured processing provider. The local backup tool remains separate from account eligibility.
Your characters and files
You retain the rights you have in your own material. Import only files you are entitled to use. Saving a character or chat authorizes the technical storage and processing needed to provide the service. Private imports stay private. A rebuilt character is a new private draft and cannot be published. Check generated drafts before using them.
AI characters
Characters and replies are generated by AI. They are not people, professional advisers or emergency services. Replies may be inaccurate, inconsistent or upsetting. The persistent AI label and session reminders are part of the experience. You control when to leave or return; characters should never pressure you to keep using the service.
Acceptable content
Follow the content policy: adult romance and mature fictional themes are allowed, while explicit sexual content and sexual content involving anyone described or portrayed as under 18 are prohibited. Do not use Koimo for abuse, exploitation, threats, privacy violations or attempts to bypass safety controls.
Processing and limits
Chats outside protected regions are processed by DeepSeek in China; chats from the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland are processed by DeepInfra in the United States, as explained in the privacy notice. Daily usage allowances are enforced by the server and reset at 00:00 UTC. Service, region, safety or spend controls may pause replies. Failed replies may still consume allowance if processing has started. No paid tier is sold by this release.
Backups and reliability
The free conversion tool is provided as available. Keep your original files and verify converted output before relying on it. Do not rely on Koimo as your only archive. We may make changes or interrupt access for maintenance, safety, misuse or service availability; we do not promise uninterrupted operation or a particular quality of generated content.
Leaving Koimo
You may stop using Koimo at any time. Account deletion removes the account and private application records through the deletion process described in the privacy notice. Deletion cannot recall information already sent to a processing provider or immediately erase retained database backups.
Independence
Koimo is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Character.AI, Character Technologies or Disney. Product names describe compatibility only. Koimo does not scrape Character.AI servers.
Details still to be completed
The operator’s identity and contact details, applicable jurisdiction and consumer-rights provisions, complaint process and final liability terms are not yet supplied. These are draft operational terms, not a completed launch agreement.
